Katahdin Engineering Logo Design
CEO and Founder of Katahdin Engineering, Elizabeth, wanted a simple, sleek logo that incorporated a mountain. The name Katahdin comes from the highest mountain in Maine, meaning “the greatest mountain”, which Elizabeth encountered while hiking the Appalachian trail.  Below are images from the entire process- from original sketches to the final design…

CWE (Collaborative Work Environment), a company based out of North Carolina, asked that I turn their rough sketches and flow charts into presentable, professional graphics that were uniform with their brand identity.

PGA Tour Logo for Mark Wilson Foundation
Mark Wilson is a PGA Tour player who hosts a fundraising event for his foundation every year. The 2017 event will be a large dinner and auction held at Rich Harvest Farms, a prestigious members only country club in Illinois. The proceeds from the event will benefit a non-profit organization that provides food for underprivileged children. The client requested that I create a simple logo that combines the location, the fundraising project, and golf.

PR Logo Design
I was asked to design mockup logos and stationary for PGA Tour player Patrick Rodgers. His agent asked that the designs be bold and easy to recognize- like Tiger Woods’ logo. They also had to be simple so that they could be easily printed and stitched on golf equipment and attire. Finally, the designs all had to incorporate a “P” and “R” as his business is called PR Inc. DSM Promotional Materials
DSM is a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials. I was in charge of making all promotional materials for their potential clients, focus groups, meetings and their training seminars. Below are a few examples of work, including a brochure, ad poster, schedule, question sheet and PDF worksheet – all of which tie in with the theme of their company logo and latest 3C Technology Training program.

Pic Your Wish Logo
I was hired by former Miss Indiana and Miss America 2009, Katie Stam, to design the logo for the launch of her new company and it’s app. The company, Pic Your Wish, essentially allows you to take pictures of things you see in a store, online, or from a magazine, and add the details about the item to a created list (for example, “Katie’s Christmas Wishlist”). You can then share the list with friends and family, which provides them with the necessary information about each item’s brand, where you can buy it, the size and even the sale price, ultimately making gift giving easier than it’s ever been. My task was to create a gender neutral logo and app icon that would incorporate a camera and something related to a wish.  In addition, Katie asked that the visual be easy to recognize, simple, and bubbly… but not too girly.

Center Studio Branding
I was hired by a personal training and yoga studio in Columbus, Indiana to reinvent their logo and overall image within the community. After new studio renovations, they felt the need to align their logo, merchandise and other promotional and professional materials with their “new modern look”.  They asked for fresh colors that matched their studio walls and mats, clean lines and a logo that allowed for many variations and sizes.

NCR Consulting Website
After being hired by Nicole Rongo to help with her client’s graphic design needs, she asked me to designer her a new website. Her prior website was cluttered and confusing to navigate. She asked that I make it simple, clean and easy for clients to find what they needed. The task was to first tweak her current logo and incorporate those fonts, colors and styles throughout the website without making it look too overwhelming.
